When you think you are too exhausted to continue, when you struggle because your physical and emotional condition is not at the highest level and still your brain works all the time, learn to rest… Sometimes it is very hard from our multitasking schedules and continous ‘to do lists’ learn to slow down, it is almost impossible from what I’ve known before, during my 20s and 30s.
But this year, I have learnt that my body needs some more attention and that if I want to continue as a high achiever at different fields of interest and business, that I have to take a break. And when I say ‘take a break’, it certainly doesn’t mean to take a travel break, at least that was the situation during the 2018, when almost all my last trips didn’t finish well, because I was sick every time and didn’t enjoy myself. Your body knows, even if we don’t want to see the signs, because we think we can.
Neverthelless, the 2018 is coming to its end, and I feel I am a little bit wiser and I care about myself a little bit more. There’s still a lot to learn, but I am on my way, taking care of myself to be able to give even more at long term basis while enjoying the yourney.
So, my advice and wish to all of you who are reading this for 2019 is to CARE more about yourself and never forget that YOU are the most important person in your life, always…. Hugs!
